History of the breed

The Fédération Cynologique Internationale recognized the breed on March 26, 1964.

Physical particularities

Its hair: short, glossy, tight, of fine texture, and covering a very supple skin. It is color: bicolor in most cases (pure black and white, red and white, black and tan, fawn and white, white with patches and tan markings on the eyes, muzzle, and cheeks), unicolor black or brindle (black stripes on a red background). The feet, chest,, and tip of the chest are white.
